Some of Paul's friends comments:
Gary Webster
I got to know Paul several years ago, long before we worked a few OVWG events together, when we were still having our monthly meetings in the church basement. Even then I noticed that he seemed to be more quiet and reserved than others. I often thought of him as the “Gentle Giant”! Although a quiet individual, Paul was still quite friendly. I never heard him speak a negative word about anyone or to anyone. Paul enjoyed his woodturning and I witnessed his skills develop really well during his tenure with the club. He was always willing to pitch in and help out where needed. One thing is for sure, when we organized and had our youth turning events, I could always count on Paul being there and helping out! That’s the kind of guy that Paul was! Although I never really got to meet his family until I attended his memorial service, I could tell from the many photos and from meeting his wife and other family members, that he was truly a “Family Man”! Paul, I am going to miss you, my friend. Rest in peace.
